Founder and curator of the Andy Warhol Family Museum of Modern
Art in Medzilaborze not far from Miková. Back then he
was able to persuade the functionaries with Warholian works
such as Hammer and Sickle or the portrait of Lenin that this
odd fellow deep down in his heart was a communist after all,
and thus managed to establish a museum in the former Palace
of Culture. Bycko tries to provoke and again and again to introduce
fresh impulses into the crusted over conditions of the region,
but usually his plans are being crushed by the mistrust and
ignorance of the respective people in charge politically.
